The launch of Minister Elliot Lamptey’s new album titled, “Heart of Worship” at All Souls Baptist Church in Accra, Ghana, was a big deal.
Several Artistes including Kofi Karikari, David Brew, Pastor Edwin Dadson, Calvis Hammond, Nii Okai, and David Osabutey were on the bill to support the minister. They took turns to minister powerfully to the audience.
After several ministrations by the various artistes present, Minister Elliot and his team took their turn to bless the people of God by doing numerous songs on his new album, including “Kingdom” and “Press on the Word,” which he composed together with his father, Rev. Lamptey.
The night also saw a few collaborations between himself and;
- David Brew – They did “You are Holy.”
- Pastor Dadson and Calvis Hammond – They did a remix of one of his reggae songs.
- Kofi Karikari doing “Effata wo” (You’re worthy).
- David Osabutey – They did “Oh Lord be glorified.” According to him, this song was composed in Thailand after being delivered and redeemed from the spirit of lust.
Minister Elliot crowned the night by surprising his father, who happened to be celebrating his birthday with a cake. Rev. Lamptey cut the cake together with his wife, Marian Lamptey, who later gave the vote of thanks and appreciated all who were present.
Of a truth, it was a memorable night.
