6 Reasons KODA Should Win the Artist Of the Year

Kofi Owusu Dua Anto popularly known as KODA is a Ghanaian gospel singer, songwriter, record producer, music director, song engineer and multi-instrumentalist from Takoradi.

KODA has worked with many gospel artists in and out of Ghana including the likes of Nii Okai, “Pastor Joseph Gyebi”, “Danny Nettey”, Pastor Joe Beecham, “Daughters of Glorious Jesus”, “Joyful Way Inc.”,Pastor Helen Yawson, Yaw Osei-Owusu, “Ike Nanor”, “Eugene Zuta”,Jesse Jenkins, Diana Hamilton, Calvis Hammond among others.

His music group “Anointed” which is based in Takoradi has supported many gospel ministries in the country and overseas. He was a leading member to many legendary Ghanaian Contemporary gospel groups like “Da Project” etc.

KODA currently has several vocal and gospel jazz albums to his credit which have received massive recognition in the country.

His is very indigenous and exceptional with his style of music. He bears no competition with no one due to the nature of his songs. KODA is very creative in rhythms, arranging and constructing his songs. When it comes to his choice of lyrics, dictions and focus, he is definitely the best.



KODA is gentle, Kind and humble in his field of career. He understands and knows what his ministry is all about and very benevolent, a family man with three children but still dedicated to his music.


If the artist of the year award is based on my criteria of assessment, then definitely KODA should be considered as the best artist of the year 2017.
