Behind The Scenes

Beyond The Scenes

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

We seem more ok as long as men have not seen our hidden mess. Yet we are dealing with God who cannot be mocked. All lay bare before Him.
Sin exists beyond the act. We don’t only sin when we act it out. our sinful state is always before the lord, not in the occurrences or inactions.
Our tendency to sin is our real state before the Lord, not our record before men

This is why Jesus said if you look on a woman lustfully, you actually have sinned without the act! A thief is a thief, even if the chances to steal have not proven him yet. God knows you beyond your presentation. His eyes see beyond the scenes. Our real sinful state dwells in our tendencies to act wrongly and not in the records men have of us.
This is why we may show up before the world as okey but not okey before the Lord. What is really sad about this is that we are alright as long as men have not found out. However, when we admit before God what your weaknesses are and practically deal with it, we come to terms with our actual state and not the idea people have of us. It is God who does the lifting, not people. There’s no true humility before people because true humility is what you truly are beyond the scenes. Scenes are what we want people to see, but the real you is beyond the scenes.

Indeed, man looks on the outside but God looks beyond the scenes . It’s sad how we even pray according to how we want people to perceive us, we even worship and sing our songs more in response to onlookers other than what our real inner conditions are. We have become just so unrealistic as social media. Posting lol (laugh out loud) but actually not even wearing a smile.
It’s wise to get real with God than remain in human illusions.

1 Samuel 16:7 KJV
But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.
