The first edition of ‘Back to the Heart of Worship’ concert dubbed, “The Eden Experience” was recently held at the ICGC Mercy Temple, Roman Ridge, Accra-Ghana.
According to the host of the program, Ps. Nana Yaw Tweneboa, “The Eden Experience” is going to be an annual event, which would highlight a particular gospel artist, whilst featuring others in the industry.
With this edition, Evelyn Amo (Europe) was the main artiste. She was supported by other music ministers such as Harry Fiscian, Mercy Sackey, Ps. Emmanuel John Teye, Nii Okai, Ps. Isaiah Ofosu-Kwakye, Ike Nanor, Diana Hopeson, Willie and Mike, the resident choir of the church among others.
Evelyn Amo took the stage and ministered powerfully alongside her BVs and husband, who played both the trumpet and keyboard. In an exclusive interview with her after the event, she shared about how blessed she is to have her husband supporting her fully in this great call.
Later on in the show, her album was dedicated and launched. She came back on to do a few songs on that album. A benediction was given by Ps. Nana Yaw to end the program.
Generally, it was a colourful night with most artistes costumed in African print. Attendance was great, and the tangible presence of God was greatly felt.
