Do you really bare the image of God?

“Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” – Genesis 1:26

Who is the “us” when God stated “let us make man in our image”? He was actually speaking with the subordinates in heaven thus the angels. He made angles higher than humans that makes them invisible from human but human are created in the same image of angels and God.

God is Spirit and truth, anyone that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. In His word, He said, he created human as His own image and has given us power to overcome every obstacles in life.

God is superior so are humans because man was made in His own image. He is Holy, pure, genuine, supreme and powerful so are you.

Why then do you want to tarnish His image?

As human and a Christian, when you are pressed what would be your related image, could it be negative or positive that would bring glory to your maker? If you are on earth as human does not permit you to live an awkward life.

In Galatians 5:19-21 says now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

His image depict holiness, honesty, loyalty, righteousness, decency, humility and uprightness. He made you in His own image, do you bare any of these images?

It is God who created us and has given our lives into our own hands, what we use our life for is unto us. But being a good manufacture, He made us and choose the best of live for  mankind that if we love him we should obey His commandment by not doing what He dislikes,. But rather avoid this lustful desires and live a Holy and a righteous life that would permit us in His habitat.

Live a life that would be profitable to yourself and your maker. As a Christian, let your lifestyle motivate and inspire others into Christ. All things are lawful for man, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for man, but all things edify not. You have the right to do anything, you say–but not everything is beneficial. You have the right to do anything –but not everything is constructive.

In conclusion, let us be wary of how we speak, dress and the entire behaviour because we are the representative of God and His ambassador. We should also take to His good path and avoid the negative deeds that will cause us to be separated from Him and miss His kingdom.
