Many are not at peace in life because of condemnation. When you are taken to the court and you are sentenced to death (condemnation), you loss hope at once. Because all the rest of your life on earth will be full of hard work and labour for some people of which you will not be enjoying as it will be on your own. Condemnation is the act of pronouncing to be wrong; censure; blame; disapprobation. Many have become Christians but still feel condemned in life. This must not be so. A christian life is not a life of condemnation. It’s a freedom life. When you still feel condemn as a child of God, check your heart.

[[1Jn 3:21-22]] KJV Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

When we talk of the heart, then we say it’s an organ in the animal body which is the centre of the circulation of the blood, and hence was regarded as the seat of physical life. The Greek word translated heart in the above scripture is kardia which means the centre and seat of spiritual life. In this, we say of the soul or mind, as it is the fountain and seat of the thoughts, passions, desires, appetites, affections, purposes, and endeavours. The heart helps in our understanding which is the faculty and seat of the intelligence. Allow the Spirit to control your thoughts and actions. If you allow the heart, it will look at your sinful nature and condemn you. It will always look at your dirty life and leave Jesus Christ out of which you became shameful to approach the throne of Grace. At the throne of Grace, we receive mercy and Grace in times of help (See Hebrews 4:16).

Where man receives mercy for wrong doings and Grace in times of help is the throne seat of Grace. And it takes people with confidence to come to the throne seat of Grace. How can you approach the throne if you feel condemned? Whiles you still thinks God is mad at you. When you are thinking your past sins is still on you. When you think you are still a sinner and don’t deserve to be with the Lord. Yes! We are dirty, naughty, shameful etc. but God still loved us even in that state and made His son to come and die for us. He died to bring us back to God. And with this, God does not see you and I. When ever He sees us, He sees Christ Jesus in us. He sees perfect, Holy and righteous people. He is not remembering our sins and iniquities any more (Hebrews 10:17). He bought us at a price.

Beloved, don’t allow your heart to condemn you. Those who are in Christ Jesus are not condemned. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus; those who do not walk in the power of the flesh but the Spirit (Romans 8). Those who feel condemned don’t receive from God because they fear to come to Him for anything. God is ready to give you your heart desires and even satisfy them with Good things. What are you still waiting for precious one? Come to Him now with the mind of Christ Jesus. The life we have is Christ’s. As the Father entrusted the Son Jesus Christ and gave all things to him, so he has done unto us. Because as Christ is, so we are on earth. We represent Christ Jesus on earth as children of God (see 1 John 4:17). Whenever you pray, pray as one who have hope in the Lord and believe you have what you asked for. God bless you!
