“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified”. (Romans 8:28-30)

This morning I am rejoicing in these verses in Romans. They are particularly powerful when read alongside Psalm 139. Together they say very clearly that you and I are here on purpose, in His purpose. He knows you, He chose you to be a believer in His Son, to follow Him and even before you were born, He had justified you, glorified you, called you by His name!

You may wonder at these verses, particularly if life is hard for you at the moment. You may wonder if that means that He chose to let you dwell in your current circumstances, to watch you go through the hardships you have gone through. There are no easy explanations for why bad things happen except that we are on the battlefield and though we are marked as soldiers of the King, in battles there are casualties. The enemy seeks to destroy and kill but we serve the Prince of Peace and He has won the victory. We will see the victory!

Whatever is going on in your life today, it does not change the fact that you are an anointed son or daughter of the King of Kings. It does not take away the fact that whatever the circumstances of your birth, He loved you before you were born, loves you now and will go on loving you long after you stop breathing the air of this earth. These present day troubles are for now, HIs love for you is for all eternity if you hold fast, trust and endure in His name.

Today dear brethren, You are called by His name, You are justified by the blood of Christ and you are and are and will continue to be glorified in His name.

You are wonderfully and marvelously made and His thoughts towards you are so precious and so numerous that they outnumber the stars in the sky! (Psalm 139) Yes God knows your name!

His unfailing love towards you as one who fears Him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. (Psalm 103)
His salvation will extend to your children’s children if you stay faithful to His commandments….(Psalm 103)

He has plans for you, to prosper you, to shine favor over you!
Claim it brethren, stand tall on His promises and know that in Him you are always more than a conqueror….. I am, I will and I believe in his promises over my life…do you?
Be blessed and may the peace and knowledge of the power of the living God embrace you, clothe you and protect you today and all days.

May the abundance of the storerooms of heaven pour over you and may you truly grasp your Father’s love for you in all things. In Jesus name. Amen
