How best would you describe impartation? Take a look at this

Rom 1:11-12 NKJV

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established — that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

The word impart means “to give, convey, or grant.” Impartation then can be said to be,  the act of giving or granting something. In the Bible spiritual gifts are imparted Romans 1:11 –  wisdom is imparted

Proverbs 29:15 –  the message of the gospel is imparted

1 Thessalonians 2:8 –  and material goods are imparted

Ephesians 4:28; 1 Timothy 6:18 –  Some translations use the word share as a replacement for impart. The Bible never speaks of the impartation of righteousness.

Scripture says we can receive the anointing through “impartation”.  There are different kinds of impartations.

 Acts 8:14-19 NKJV

Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, saying, “Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”

Rom 1:11-12 NKJV

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established — that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

2 Tim 1:6 NKJV

Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other people’s sins; keep yourself pure.

Demons can be transferred through the laying on of hands.  Consider the following passage where Simon noticed that the Holy Spirit was given through the laying on of hands.  He had been a sorcerer and just become a baptized believer.  As a brand new Christian, he probably had not been taught about the gift of laying on of hands.  Most likely he understood the power of laying on of hands, due his past life as a sorcerer.

Other Preachers of the word have also spoken about the impartation through preachings. A very simple way by just listening to messages and sermons from men of God who can impart spiritual gifts and blessings into the lives of believers.
