“The Son of Man came not to be ministered to but to minister. The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve,” this are the words of Rev. Eastwood Anaba in this sermon.
John 6:15 “And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles; 14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, 15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes, 16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.”
The highest calling is to have the heart of a servant. Jesus in His earthly ministry did nothing more than to serve. Teaching His disciples that a leader must be an example to his subordinates. In context, that leader must serve the subordinates, that is the hallmark of true leadership.
