[Poem] JOB 87!

Vacancy! Vacancy! Vacancy!
Job 87! Job 87! Job 87!
There’s a high tendency
For laurels even when the clock strikes eleven.

The subtlety of man’s buoyancy
In despairing quests is found in Job 87;
When he forgets this code, due to pedantry
And dares to employ wits in breaking even,

He all the more pleads for failure’s mercy
This is for all yearning for Heaven-
Who hate to see their dreams in dormancy;
Prevailing to see their dreams now living.
