[POEM] Stop The Lie!

This poem throws more light on people who find it difficult to speak the truth due to the environment they find themselves. People do things to gain favour before men; they lie to get a particular job, school, a high rank position etc. But they forget that, truth is permanent and lie is temporal.

Why do you lie?
To be famous, relevant or to become a favourite?
A lying tongue is as dangerous as a sharp blade
That cuts at the slightest chance
Faster than Usain Bolt
It can spread so quickly
As melted margarine or Shea butter

Hide a truth so deep as a corps and it shall be revealed
The truth hurts but is simple
A lie is famous but complicated with bitter ends

The heart of the wicked is of little worth.
The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom
But the perverse tongue will be cut off

The tongue of the wise brings healing.
Truthful lips endure forever
But a lying tongue is but for a moment.

Cowards fear to face the truth,
But the brave will always stand by their words
Be led by the truth and shine like a star.

Avoid the lie and embrace the truth.
