“The DEAD PRAISE NOT the LORD, neither any that GO DOWN INTO SILENCE. But WE will bless the LORD FROM THIS TIME FORTH and FOR EVERMORE. Praise the LORD.” (Ps. 115:17-18)
Praising the lord is something I enjoy doing; whether on my own in my small corner, at home or during public worship with the people of God.
The first time I read this scripture, I realized how blessed and privileged we (those who are alive) are. This is because, the DEAD CANNOT praise the lord; at least not until the trumpet sounds.
Therefore, if you are sick but ALIVE, hurt but ALIVE, disappointed but ALIVE, facing challenges but ALIVE, then friend, see it as an opportunity to praise your maker.
Join David in Psalm 34:1 and say, “I WILL BLESS THE LORD AT ALL TIMES: HIS PRAISE SHALL CONTINUALLY BE IN MY MOUTH.”
