Primeval Media Organizes Launch of Unity Match

When it comes to Sports Events in Ghana, more often than not, Primeval Media is behind it.
This year, Primeval Media has teamed up with Stephen Appiah, former Black Stars Captain to put together a UNITY MATCH geared towards maintaining peace and unity in this year’s election in November.
The Unity Match will be played on the 6th and 8th of June at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra and the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi respectively.
It will be between a World select side and
a. Black Stars at the Ohene Djan Stadium, and
b. Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Launch of the Unity Match
Former England International and Arsenal player Sol Campbell arrived in Ghana on Sunday, together with Ghanaian born Netherlands player George Boateng to launch the 2016 Unity Match at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra.
Campbell and Boateng partnered former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah for the grand launch of the event aimed at promoting peace and unity ahead of the 2016 General Elections in November.
Rev. Azigiza Jnr ( Rev. Kpakpo Addo Jnr) opened the launch with a Word of Prayer.
The event, which was under the auspices of Primeval Media,- the leading sports event company in Ghana saw big names such as Dr. Ahmed Mustafa, the Youth and Sports Minister, George Akwesi Afriyie, GFA Vice Chairman, Rev. Emmanuel Asante, The Chairman of the National Peace Council as well as a representative from the British Airways.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Ahmed Mustafa and George Akwesi Afriyie, applauded Primeval media for organizing such an event and gave their full support. The Chairman of the Peace Council, Rev Emmanuel Asante also congratulated Primeval Media
The Event was packed with the who is who of Sports in Ghana, Sport reporters as well as fans of Arsenal and general lovers of Football.
The launch was very well received and attended with various Arsenal fans having the privilege to ask questions and take pictures with their idol.
The launch ended with a prayer by Rev Michael Nii Abbossey.
The launch of the Unity match began with prayer and ended with prayer, showing that Ghana isn’t just a football nation but most importantly a Christian nation.
