“After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, ‘Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.’” (Revelation 4: 1)
Please understand that one’s position in the realm of the spirit is very important with regards to receiving spiritual information, and the type of information one has access to, determines how efficiently one can wage warfare and maneuver in the spirit and in the natural. For example, when nations are at war, they risk lives and spend a lot of money on spying on one another because they all want critical information that might help them win the war, and the same is
true in the spirit.
In the anchor scripture, God wanted to show John something but He wanted him to step up out from the natural and step into the supernatural before He could show him. “Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne, and He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.
Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads, and from the throne proceeded lightning, thundering, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.” (Revelations 4: 2-5) He had previously seen the door of heaven opened but he needed to step into the spirit realm to see the things in heaven. There was no way John would have seen the throne of Jehovah, the twenty four elders and their thrones at the natural level.
It is common to remain in the natural, but it’s uncommon to climb up into the spirit realm because it takes inner tenacity, spiritual intensity, discipline, commitment and courage to climb up the mountain of prayer, have an intimate relationship with Jehovah, and access spiritual power.
Beloved it is time to gird your loins and step up your prayer life so you will be able to apprehend,
comprehend and perceive effectively and accurately the matters of the spirit and have the upper hand in your dealings.
By divine authority, I command the eyes of my understanding to be enlightened to see into the will of God for my life.
And now I deploy the hand of the Lord and I switch off from all natural activities that interrupt my prayer life.
I declare the spirit of the Lord is upon me. From henceforth I connect into the supernatural mantle of prayer.
I command my inner man to be stirred up to lift up supplications and petitions to the Lord continuously in Jesus’ name.
