Aps Eric Nyamekye has been elected by the General Council as the CHAIRMAN of The Church of Pentecost.

In his acceptance speech he stated that being elected for this position didn’t come as a surprise to him. He knew that a day like this would come in his life 20 years ago. He added that he would pray on several occasions he had prayed that the cup would pass over him. But time over time he would receive a distant call confirming his fears.

He concluded that “I therefore in all humility accept the challenge of leading the Church of Pentecost for the next 5 years and i pray that the good Lord who knew me when i was a clot of blood in my mother’s womb will be with me. May the Lord be with all of us, May the Lord be with me.”

Aps Eric Nyamekye takes over from  Aps Prof. Opoku Onyinah who successfully served his two(2) terms as Chairman of The Church. In attendance was also Aps Ntumy a former Chairman of The Church.
