Thursday, 7 December 2017 – Lord I believe

Mark. 9:23-24 (ESV).”And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

Doubt is something we must constantly overcome in our walk of faith. We must confront it head on, as we push through to believe God and what His Word says about us. It’s a constant choice to either trust God at His Word, or give in to the doubt the enemy puts in our minds. Whatever we give our attention to, ends up influencing our outcome.

That’s why it’s essential for us to spend time fellowshipping with the Lord in His Word, where we fill our minds and hearts with His truth. The stronger God’s truth influences our lives, the stronger doubt and fear are driven out. It just took one statement of truth from the mouth of Jesus to boost the Father’s faith to believe for his son’s deliverance.

Imagine what will happen when we choose to consistently spend time in God’s presence, receiving His Word of truth for our lives? It’s time to fill our hearts and minds with the kind of faith that constantly looks beyond doubt. Press into faith today!
