The session with Pastor Andy Yawson on the third day of the Good General Conference was full of inspirations. His tittle for session was “The 11 Pillars Of Impactful Ministry” (1st Kings 10:2-4). It’s a message that basically throws more light on the Ministers of God.
The strategic ways of impacting positively to the your calling (ministry);
· PREPARATION (Matthew 25:1-10)
Be alert and ready for the Lord. Do His work with all diligence, with all supplication obey His words concerning your ministry and don’t handle it with your own strength.
Be consistence in your ministry.
· PURPOSE (John 13:12-16)
Know your purpose of being on earth. It’s important to acknowledge your purpose of calling and where you belong but not to imitate others.
· PEOPLE (Romans 12:16-18)
Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. Do not repay evil to evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. It is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
· PROFESSIONALISM (Eccle. 9:10)
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your heart and might.
· PASSION (1 Kings 10:8)
What is your passion towards God’s work? Do you show happiness to the things of God?.
Don’t low your level of service because it is for the church.
· PATIENCE (Exodus 23:29-31, Hebrews 6:11-12)
This is one of the keys that grants us longevity in ministry. Don’t be slothful but be through faith and patience for God’s promises. Stay faithful and be consistence and it shall surely be fulfilled. Don’t hasty for a fast blessing.
· PIONEERING SPIRIT (Genesis 12:4)
Develop a pioneering mentality and not a lot mentality. The pioneer starts with nothing and believes God for everything. Every branch master or minister needs to their personal encounter with God.
· POWER (Acts 1:8, Acts 4:29-31)
The Holy Spirit was sent to fuel our efforts. Allow God to hour and announce you and stop announcing yourself, “He who called you shall fulfil His promise”.
· PRIZE (1 Corinthians 15:58, Mark 10:28-30)
There are both heavenly and earthly rewards to great service. What you are preparing to walk away from determines what comes to you.
